VIDEO: Do You Need Reconstructive Surgery?
Reconstructive surgery can sometimes be necessary when conservative approaches to treatment are not successful.
Most often, these surgeries are for correction of flat foot deformities in children and adults, or for people with rheumatoid arthritis. There are different materials, joints and in some cases, implants, that are used for these surgeries. Diabetic patients can sometimes have reconstructive surgeries to maintain mobility from partial amputations as well. Watch my video blog to hear more about the types of reconstructive surgery we perform here at Triad Foot Center.
